Programs Committee

Description:
This Committee shall oversee special events and programs of the Region Chamber. The Committee will plan events and identify major short-term and long-term goals in furtherance of the State and Region Chambers' strategic plan; prepare a one-year plan for the State/Region Chamber's monthly program and will present their plans to the State President/Region Chair and the Board for discussion/approval at each meeting in advance of the actual program performance, and carry out the program plans once approved by the Board.
Membership Committee

Description:
This Committee shall maintain the membership and biographical data of all of the members of the Region Chambers; the Region Membership Committee shall maintain the membership data of all the members of the Region Chamber and share the information with the State Membership Committee; develop and implement strategies for recruitment, and promote the retention and participation of members.
Communications and Marketing Committee

Description:
The Committee shall oversee, manage, and maintain the website and all social media accounts; identify possible marketing opportunities; collaborate with other committees to develop ways to market, promote the projects and maintain the branding of the organization; and conduct brainstorming sessions to develop innovative ways to market the organization.
Business Development and Education Committee

Description:
The Committee will provide educational seminars and workshops; develop opportunities for the business community to find an innovative way to grow their business together, connect members to the community, and find resources.
Humanitarian Committee
Committee Chair: Dr Danet Lapiz Bluhm

Description:
The Humanitarian Committee will plan and execute projects for helping victims of natural disasters and other calamities in the Philippines and U.S. within Texas and elsewhere; coordinate fundraising efforts or gathering and shipping of in-kind relief donations to the victims; and collaborate and work with PACC Texas Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, to provide an opportunity for donors to avail of tax deduction privileges.
Election Committee

Description:
The Election Committee shall be composed of the Committee Chair and three Committee Members to be appointed by the President/Region Chair. The Election Committee shall convene and hold an election at least 60 days prior to the end of the term of office of the current Board of Directors. The Election Committee shall adopt policies and procedures for the conduct of the election subject to the approval by a majority vote of the Board of Directors.
Grievance Committee

Description:
The Grievance Committee will handle official complaints filed by a Board Member against other Board members or officers within the same Region Chamber or other Region Chambers. The Committee shall adopt policies and procedures to ensure that all members are heard and treated fairly. The Region Grievance Committee shall be composed of the Region Chair and 2 members appointed by the Region Chair. This Committee will handle official complaints involving members and officers within the same region.
TOFSA Committee

The TOFSA Committee is responsible for nominating and selecting awardees for The Outstanding Filipino-Americans of San Antonio awards. Collaborating closely with the Sponsorship and Programs Committees, the TOFSA Committee secures necessary support and oversees the gala's logistics, from planning to execution. This coordination guarantees a memorable celebration that highlights the contributions and heritage of Filipino-Americans. After the gala, the committee prepares a final report, summarizing the event's success and providing insights for future celebrations. Through their dedication, the TOFSA Committee fosters community pride and cultural appreciation, making the TOFSA Gala a highlight event for the Filipino-American community in San Antonio.
